Talent Box to promote 18 talented designers this season

Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2013 will be held from 22-26 March 2013

Mumbai, February 5, 2013 - By popular demand, “Talent Box”, a hugely successful feature in past seasons of Lakmé Fashion Week will return to Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2013. The Talent Box provides talented young designers with an exclusive opportunity to showcase their creations on professional models in a ramp setting, to a select group of buyers, guests and media.   

This popular second showing area at Lakmé Fashion Week is located in “The Source”, the business hub of LFW. Designers showcasing at the Talent Box present exclusive capsule shows in an intimate setting.

Launched in August 2011, the Talent Box is the only platform of its kind in India dedicated to promoting young, emerging design talent. The Talent Box, along with the Zovi Gen Next Program plays an integral role in achieving Lakmé Fashion Week’s vision to redefine the future of fashion.

Through the Lakmé Fashion Week Gen Next Program, Lakmé Fashion Week has discovered the country’s top young design talent. The Talent Box provides a unique place to promote this and even more of India’s next design superstars and the platform has received acclaim from all areas of the fashion fraternity.
